Christmas Cake Recipe?

I put 1.5kg of mixed fruit in a plastic box, then poured over a bottle of rum. A couple of days later I added half a bottle of amaretto. All the liquor seems now to have been absorbed. Do I need to add more or will this saturate it? What should I do next? I think this could be one heck of a cake! Help Please!

It will absorb the booze, so don;t add anymore because the liquid will release as it cooks. (And don;t be tempted to eat the fruit now..unless you share)

Follow your recipe your ‘macerated’ fruit is ready to go.
